TAIM-TFG presents its new catalogue The new corporate catalogue published by TAIM-TFG, is a true reflection of company’s commitment to business excellence. Available in four different languages, it offers an abundance of outstanding photographs of facilities constructed by the company throughout the world. TAIM-TFG, an internationally renowned Spanish company specializing in turnkey projects with state-of-the-art technology, and a leading company in the areas of bulk material handling, lifting systems, renewable energy and the environment, has just released its new corporate product catalogue. The catalogue, published under the broad title of “Innovation and Technology” provides the perfect introduction to TAIM-TFG, a company which, as mentioned in the prologue, is committed to excellence, innovation and technology, human resources, total quality and competitiveness as the mainstays of its business philosophy. The new catalogue is a beautifully-produced publication, issued in two editions (each in three languages). One edition in Spanish, English and French and another in Spanish, English and German, both replete with superb pictures, take us on a visual tour of some of the most significant facilities built by TAIM-TFG in different parts of the world. The first part of the catalogue offers a summary of the history of the company, from its beginnings over a hundred years ago, through its progressive expansion and up to the ensuing process of becoming an international entity with the acquisition of the German firm WESER ENGINEERING and the Brazilian firm TAIM CADÉ BRASIL. This first section also sets forth the objectives and corporate strategy policies, in which innovation is of paramount importance and one of the principal factors in making the company a world leader. The top priority given to innovation within the corporate culture is reflected in the R&D&I department of TAIM-TFG, which devotes large amounts of energy to research programs for developing new products, as well as continuously improving those already being manufactured. TAIM-TFG and WESER ENGINEERING are backed by a team of engineers devoted exclusively to developing engineering solutions for projects using the company’s own patented technology. This combination of technology and human resources, accompanied by a policy of total quality management which includes respect for the environment and strict compliance with current regulations, guarantees the company’s capacity to respond with the most appropriate and effective solutions and to take on “turnkey” projects on a competitive basis and in any part of the world. The second part of the catalogue opens with a pull-out picture centerfold illustrating the four production lines: bulk material handling, lifting systems, ports and new developments in the environmental sector, and in turn, each line produces products to be used by the different industries. These are described on the following pages and throughout the rest of the catalogue with the help of a variety of pictures of the facilities including, for example, a port coal terminal with a combined stacker/reclaimer machine with a capacity of 4,000/2,200 t/h, or an iron ore port terminal with a capacity of 5 million tons per year, among others. In their bulk handling division, the company designs, manufactures and supplies complete continuous bulk handling systems for the mining, iron and steel, energy, grain, fertilizer, cement works and paper industries. With regard to lifting systems, the company is backed by extensive experience and expertise in designing bridge cranes and gantry cranes for the iron and steel, cement works, energy and nuclear energy industries. When it comes to Ports, thanks to the combination of lifting and transportation systems, TAIM-TFG designs, manufactures and supplies turnkey facilities for ports in the following areas: loading and unloading of vessels; receipt, transportation and storage of bulk material; loading, unloading and storage of containers. Lastly, with respect to new developments, the company designs and implements projects in the wind power industry, urban solid waste management and biomass power plants.
